Land Use Litigation
Our team of experienced land use litigators is dedicated to protecting the private property rights of our clients against governmental interference and infringement. We represent a wide array of private citizens, real estate developers, non-profit organizations, and companies in disputes against municipal, county, and state entities that have diminished, or are threatening to diminish, our clients’ property value and rights. The Firm represents clients in zoning, landmark, eminent domain, special use, variance, and public property disputes across Illinois and the other states of the Midwest. We have extensive trial and appellate experience before the federal and state courts, including the Illinois Supreme Court. When appropriate, we also negotiate successful resolutions to disputes with governmental entities, employing our well-honed advocacy skills to avoid potentially costly litigation.
