Tony Hind joined the firm in late 2007 and concentrates his practice on the litigation of disputes regarding land use, state and federal constitutional matters, and general commercial matters, as well as appeals in all these areas of law. In his 9-plus years of litigation experience, Tony has handled matters in the areas of zoning, constitutional rights, TIF ordinance abuse, trade secrets, copyright, business disputes, defamation (slander and libel), computer fraud and abuse, and the public trust doctrine, among others.

Tony has assisted property owners vindicate their rights in actions against municipalities and other property owners throughout the metro Chicago area, in both state and federal courts. His efforts, along with other attorneys with the firm, have convinced the Illinois Appellate Court to continue to provide the greatest protection of any of the 50 states to the rights of property owners against arbitrary rezonings of their property by a municipality. He also recently assisted a community group obtain a temporary restraining order against municipal agencies and a powerful private school which sought to wrongfully privatize public park land.

Tony has represented a wide range of clients in protecting their trade secrets and confidential information from the wrongful acts of competitors and other malfeasors. He recently helped a client obtain a permanent injunction which prevented an ex-employee from misappropriating his client's customer lists and other trade secret information.
